Tran-X Product Aftercare
When you purchase a Tran-X product you can be safe in the knowledge that it has been manufactured to the highest standards. This spans our entire product range whether it be a spare part or a complete gearbox, giving you total peace of mind.
To maintain this high quality we recommend replacing any consumable items at the same time as installing your new product. This includes all bearings, seals and gaskets, etc. which will keep your Tran-X product in good health and reduce the risk of reliability problems.
When fitting your Tran-X products we strongly recommend you entrust the operation to a professional, unless you know the job well yourself. It is recommended that all fitment is done to the instructions in the manufacturers workshop manual.
When all new parts are fitted if possible they should be subjected to a run-in period of 30-50 miles of light use after which the oil should be changed.
All of these steps will increase the life of your Tran-X product and help to give a long service life.
