TR3, TR4, TR6 LSD

This LSD can be fitted in many of the famous Triumph TR cars as well as the well-known Dolomite sprint.

When Fitted to the TR6 the independent rear suspension set up means we use the Salisbury 4 lug design plate pack. This removes the need for cross pins, which reduces the risk of serious damage due to half shaft failure.

When the LSD is fitted to the live axle cars (TR3/TR4/Dolomite Sprint) we use the same plate pack however we use a specially designed cross pin, which utilises the use of a thrust button. These can be found in the standard differential and keeps constant pressure of the half shafts to stop excessive movement during hard cornering. The cross pin is still designed to reduce the risk of damage if a half shaft fails and is made from high alloy steel to ensure it can cope with all conditions.

Both IRS and Live axle units can be set up to suit your needs be it fast road or full race and with our experience this can be done easily and with the minimum of fuss.
