Competition Shafts and Flanges
Introduced to our range at the beginning of 2008, this vast selection of group one shafts enables you to get the exact half shaft you are looking for. These two-piece shafts are designed to be a direct replacement for your standard item allowing for standard bearing fitment and without the need to machine any parts. Manufactured from up rated material these large diameter shafts come in either 22T English, 16T Atlas or 18T Group 4 splines.
For complete versatility we also supply these shafts to fit a variety of axle sizes, baby, narrow, long and wide. This covers all options.
The shafts use a coned washer and lock nut design to eliminate the common problem of shaft nuts coming undone under hard cornering. This works by tightening the locking nut, which contacts the coned washer making it grip down on to the shaft ensuring flange and all internals stay in the correct position. The special locking nut can then be locked onto the shaft further ensuring no movement can occur.
Tran-X performance shafts are perfect for use in any motor sport or road application, to complement our shafts you will need to purchase OUR half shaft flanges which enable correct wheel fitment, with coned washer’s and locking nut’s. All of this can be retro fitted with ease and with the minimum of fuss.

Group IV
Our fully floating, two-piece Group IV 18T spline half shaft provides a real alternative for more demanding applications/cars. Available in two lengths with extra long splines for easy modification / fitment these up rated half shafts are made from high alloy steel and with a larger diameter means they have the strength to cope with the most demanding conditions. Along with our upgraded flanges and nuts, the perfect performance package for even the most robust landscapes.
